Starting from the Broadwater camping area, the walk leads to the 'Overflow' on the boundary of the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area, then returns along the same track.

As you walk through the open forest, look for agile wallabies in the grassy understory. Among the red gum, brown salwood and swamp mahogany trees, you'll also see blue-winged kookaburras, forest kingfishers, eastern yellow robins. Relax with a picnic in the Broadwater day-use area after your walk.
