The Traditional Owners lived, hunted, gathered and prospered for countless generations in the Girraween National Park area. We acknowledge the Traditional Owners and urge visitors to treat the country with respect and care.
Girraween National Park is a magic place! Seasonally you witness the different flavours of this special place, from sun-filled days during summer suitable for a dip in a creek or a camp under the stars, to an occasional dusting of winter snow or frost. And let’s not forget the autumn antics as nature prepares for the cooler months ahead and Girraween’s signature spring-time wildflower displays. Girraween is certainly worth a few visits throughout the year.
