Starting at Noosa Headland day-use area, this peaceful walk climbs alongside the northern face of Noosa Hill.

Pass through scenic open forests of enchanting blue gums, ruby-sapped bloodwoods and Moreton Bay ash trees, to black and hickory wattles near the top. Take a 150m detour along the main track to climb to the summit and spy glimpses of the spectacular coastline through the treeline.

Return the same path to the day-use area or return via a link track and the Tanglewood Walk for a 3.7km circuit.

Look for echidnas and carpet pythons hiding in the leaf litter.

Getting there and getting around

The Noosa Hill Walk is in the Headland section of Noosa National Park on the Sunshine Coast, 160km north of Brisbane.
